Meet Spritz, a 6-year-old, 11 pound, Maltese mix that would love nothing more than being your adorable sidekick!Spritz loves to be next to his human at all times and is a world class snuggler. He’s crate trained. He will whine when first put in his crate because he would rather be next to his person but will settle quickly. He would be happiest in a home where someone is home with him most of the time or can take him with them.One of Spritz’s favorite things is tennis balls. He loves playing fetch and is an expert at making sure you get the ball back to be able to throw it again and again and again! He would love a home with a yard to chase tennis balls and roll around in the grass. He has a curious spirit and would like to take himself on adventures, so a fully fenced yard is a must.Spritz is easygoing and loves meeting new people especially if they have a lap he can jump up onto. He doesn’t mind coexisting with other dogs, though he isn’t interested in playing with them and prefers calm dogs that will give him space. While cuddling Spritz prefers to be the center of attention and will growl at another dog that tries to steal his spotlight. He has not been tested with cats or young children, his gentle easy-going nature would likely do well with respectful kids.Dogs are not placed on a first-come, first-serve basis. We strive to find the perfect home for each animal. Applications may take up to 48 hours to process. All CAWS animals are fixed, microchipped, and vaccinated. His adoption fee is $200.
