From Just 24 Hours Left to a Lifetime of Love: Meet Gema! ð
Gema is a beautiful 1-year-old Pitbull/Terrier mix who is living proof that every dog deserves a second chance. Saved just one day before she was scheduled to be put down, this resilient girl hasn't let her rough start dim her spirit for a single second. Gema is a big, goofy, loving puppy who has survived the odds and is bursting with a truly endless amount of love and joy to give.
At just a year old, Gema has a fun, high-energy personality and a zest for life that is completely contagious. She is the ultimate play partnerâher absolute favorite things in the world are playing with her toys and happily chewing on her bones. She is also a fantastic co-pilot who absolutely loves going for car rides and feeling the wind in her face!
Don't let her goofy puppy energy fool you, thoughâGema is an incredibly smart girl! She is highly treat-motivated, making her a total breeze to train. In fact, she is already fully housebroken, kennel-trained, and walks like an absolute dream on a leash.
Gema is a social butterfly who gets along wonderfully with people and loves playing with other dogs (she hasn't been tested with cats yet). Because she has a lot of puppy energy to burn, her ideal forever home would have a fenced yard where she can zoom around, or an active adopter who would love a dedicated walking or running buddy.
Gema is safe, she is loved, and now she is completely ready for the final piece of her puzzle: a family of her very own. If you are looking for a loyal, smart, and deeply affectionate companion who will make every day brighter, Gema is your girl!
