Gets Along With: other dogs. We haven't seen them with cats or kids but we are happy to discuss integration techniques with any potential adopters!
Currently Living at: the shelter, Nugget needs a foster and a forever home.
Nugget is Looking For: A mature Chihuahua mix, Nugget dreams of having a calm and loving home. She has a sweet, affectionate nature and enjoys spending her time relaxing in cozy spots, going for walks, and hanging out with her people. Nugget is past the high‑energy stage and has settled into an easygoing routine that makes her an excellent companion for adopters seeking a quieter, low‑maintenance dog.
If you look closely at Nugget's shelter photos you will see a bulge in the corner of her left eye. This is known as cherry eye and the good news is that it's has already been treated.
Nugget may be tiny is size but like most Chihuahuas, she has a big personality that will keep you entertained. Adopt this little ray of sunshine and she'll quickly fill your home and your heart.
