7/16/2026Ella Belle is an owner surrender looking for a new home.Hi! My name is Ella Belle! I am a beautiful 12 year old fawn lady that is looking for my forever home! I am an owner surrender due to my family moving overseas, unable to take me, and my current caregiver unable to keep me. I am a proud member of the rescue's Silver Heart program so be sure and ask about it because there are many perks for my adoptive family! I am described as friendly, smart, protective, quiet, and obedient! I do not live with another dog but when I see another dog I have alot to say and will bark alot, but when next to them I think they are my best friend! I have never lived with a cat so it is uncertain if I am feline friendly. There are no children in my current home but my caretaker has observed me with children and I am good with them! I am house trained, crate trained, sleep at the foot of the bed, and I eat Blue Buffalo dog food soaked in warm water. When eating I will immediately flip the bowl over and make a pile of my food with my nose. It's unknown why, but it's what I do everytime I eat. If the humans must be away, I am fine and will nap to pass the time until they arrive home. I am not in a hurry or care to go anywhere, so when outside I have good behavior and do not dig or attempt to jump fences/gates. I currently live close to an army base and the noise from the gun range makes me uncomfortable, but I do fine with thunderstorms and fireworks. Some of my favorite things are riding in the car, naps, and going for walks!
