Keeley is a 7 week old (as of 07/16/26) mixed breed puppy. She was surrendered alone so we aren't sure her breed mix. Perhaps a Border Collie mix? Keeley is available for pre-adoption meet and greets with a go home date of July 24th.
Keeley
loves to be played with, enjoys belly rubs, and is very social. She enjoys the older dogs in her home but must be watched because she is fearless! She is very smart; already coming when called, and sleeps peacefully all night long while keeping her crate clean. Puppies at this age will require patience and training to become the best pup they can be.
Keeley
is working on potty training and, given a potty schedule, she does amazingly well for her young age.
Keeley
is very small, so older kids if any are recommended for her safety. She does well with other dogs and cats.
Current weight 5 lbs as of 7/17/26
Projected weight 20-30 lbs
Crate trained
This puppy has not had two sets of shots at this time. Adopters must have a private place for potty training to reduce the chances for life threatening illnesses until the second set of shots are given. No dog parks or shared potty spaces with unknown dogs.
We are requesting a donation of $325 for the adoption which includes her spay, three rounds of puppy vaccines, a rabies vaccine, microchip with registration, dewormer and a single dose of heartworm preventative. If you're interested in meeting or adopting her, please complete an application on our website and someone will reach out to you within 48 hours. https://legacyhumanesociety.org/adoptfoster/adoption-application/
Adopter will take puppy to an LHS approved vet to be neutered in September of 2026 per the spay/neuter agreement and in accordance to Chapter 828, Texas Health and Safety Code.
*Due to the high volume of applications and inquires for puppies as well as vetting needs, we will not be able to respond to or consider interest from those outside of the Dallas/Fort Worth Area.
