Cricket and his sibling are 7-month-old Labrador/hound mixes who were found as strays and rescued by a good citizen. Cricket weighs 34 pounds and is estimated to be a medium sized dog (31-60 pounds) when he is fully grown. He has plenty of spirit for play once he gets over a bit of initial shyness. Dogs and children make great companions for Cricket since he enjoys being part of a play group. It is not known if Cricket enjoys the company of cats.Cricket is learning all about house training and leash rules. It is important to remember that rescue dogs may have accidents as they transition to a new home. If crate training is planned, Cricket requires a crate that is big enough for him to turn around, stand in and lie down. Crates need to be warm welcoming places and must never be used for punishment.
