WATCH MY VIDEO...Five years ago, Ghost walked out of our shelter with a family, a new beginning, and the hope that she had found her forever home. She thought she had a family who would love her for the rest of her life. Sadly, Ghost is back with us through no fault of her own. Her family is moving and decided they could not take her with them. Ghost did nothing wrong. In fact, she has been the wonderful dog her family always knew her to be. She is simply waiting for someone new to give her the happily ever after she has always deserved. This sweet 7 year old Kelpie mix has so much life and personality left to share. Her family told us she is great with adults, children, and other dogs. She is housebroken, crate-trained, playful, and, in their words, `too smart!` (And honestly, we believe them!) Ghost is the kind of dog who keeps you on your toes because she is always thinking and ready to be part of whatever you're doing. Ghost loves to have fun. Our volunteers have enjoyed getting to know her and watching her silly, playful side come out. She absolutely loves playing fetch and will happily let you know when it's time to throw the toy again. She is not shy about sharing her opinions! Her favorite toys are the ones that crinkle, but not the squeaky kind. She knows what she likes, and we love that confidence.When playtime is over, Ghost is all about comfort. She loves fluffy pillows, cozy spots, and being near her people. She may not be the biggest fan of constant petting, but she enjoys simply sitting close and being part of your world. Sometimes the best friendships are the ones where you don't have to do anything special. You just have to be together. Ghost is a smart, fun, loyal companion who has already loved once and is ready to love again. She deserves a family who will see her for the amazing dog she is and make sure her next home is truly her last.
