Meet Coco Coco is a beautiful female purebred Rottweiler, estimated to be around 4 years old. While we don’t know her full story, it’s clear she hasn’t had an easy life. She arrived frightened, unsure of the world around her, and in need of someone to show her that people can be kind and that she is finally safe.To help her build confidence, Coco is currently working with one of our professional trainers. Every day she’s learning that life doesn’t have to be scary. By the time she’s ready for adoption, she will know basic obedience commands such as sit, stay, down, and place, walk politely on a leash, be crate and house trained, and learn good manners like waiting politely instead of rushing through doorways. Most importantly, Coco will have the confidence she needs to thrive in a loving home.Coco is already doing well with other dogs. Her compatibility with cats and children is currently unknown and will be evaluated as we get to know her better.Like all dogs, Coco will continue learning throughout her life. That’s why every adoption includes a lifetime of free training support with our professional trainer. If you ever have questions or need help after adopting Coco, you’ll have an experienced trainer just a phone call away, committed to helping you and Coco succeed together.Coco has spent enough time wondering if she mattered. Now it’s her turn to discover what it feels like to be cherished. We can’t wait to help her find the family she has always deserved.Adoption Process: If you are interested in adopting one of our fun-loving, "not-so-rotten" Rotties, you will be asked to fill out our adoption application which allows us to get to know you better. This ensures the dog you are interested in is a good fit for your family and lifestyle. You can access our Adoption Application by visiting our website at www.rottenrottie.com, clicking on Adopt a Rottweiler > Adoption Application > complete the application & submit the form online. After reviewing your answers, if we feel the dog you are interested in is not a match for your family, we may recommend a different Rottweiler companion. Once we determine which dog is best for you, we will schedule a meeting at their current home, where they feel most comfortable and act naturally. We require a home check to ensure each dog is going to a safe environment. To finalize the process, an adoption contract must be signed. We also require a rehoming fee, which is typically $500 for most adults and $350 for seniors (6 years and older) or Rottweiler mixes of any age (excluding puppies). Fees for puppies fluctuate depending on the investment required for the litter and whether they are purebred or a mix. These funds are necessary for our organization to continue rehoming Rottweilers in need. All of our dogs are spayed/neutered, fully vaccinated, microchipped, and have tested negative for heartworms. Each dog comes with a collar and a leash. We also address any injuries or illnesses they had upon arrival or developed in foster care; any such conditions will be fully disclosed to the adopter prior to adoption. Please Note: In almost all cases, we do not adopt to out-of-state applicants. On rare occasions, if we feel it is a PERFECT match for both you and the dog, we may make an exception for our neighbors in Las Vegas. If you live in Las Vegas and would like to be considered, please fill out our adoption application.
