Meet Chief, a handsome little pup with big ears, beautiful brindle coloring, and a personality that's just as adorable as he is.Chief is the kind of puppy who brings a smile wherever he goes. He's smart, confident, and curious, always eager to explore something new. Within just one day in his foster home, he had already mastered the dog door and figured out how to navigate the stairs like a pro!This playful boy loves other dogs of all sizes and is always ready for a game. He's great at reading his canine friends, happily joining in the fun but respectfully backing off when another dog lets him know they've had enough.Chief is also a big fan of toys and is perfectly content entertaining himself when playmates aren't available. He's very food motivated and is currently learning polite mealtime manners, including sitting patiently for his bowl and remembering that everyone else's dinner isn't part of his meal.Like any young puppy, Chief is still working on potty training. He knows that outside is the place to go, but he's still putting all the pieces together and will thrive with a consistent routine and positive encouragement.With his sweet nature, playful spirit, and eagerness to learn, Chief has all the makings of an incredible lifelong companion. Partial adoption fees will not hold a dog. If upon meeting the dog of your choosing at your scheduled pickup time you find that you aren't a good match, your deposit will be fully refunded. Adoption fees include vaccines up until time of adoption, microchip, spay/neuter and 1st 30 days of free pet insurance. We are not affiliated with MetLife pet insurance. (you have to sign up for the insurance or it will not go into effect). Adoption fees help cover the medical care of the animals while he or she waits for a new home, as well as food and transportation costs. These fees help to provide care for the other animals in the shelter or rescue group who may have medical bills that are much higher than any possible adoption fee. The money also acts as a donation to help support the organization as a whole, allowing the group to continue its efforts to rescue and rehome pets. The dogs in our care are fostered in Colorado, Texas, and New Mexico. While all dogs are picked up during our scheduled times, sometimes transport dates change due to unforeseen circumstances.
