CAMERON NEEDS A FOREVER HOME!!!!
Name: Cameron Best Guess for Breed: Terrier mix
Best Guess for Age: 2 years as of June 2026 SEX: Male
Approximate Weight: 24 lbs
Gets Along With: Other dogs! We haven't seen him with kids but we are happy to discuss integration techniques with any potential adopters! He is not good with cats.
Currently Living at: DC area foster home
Special adoption considerations: Dogs from Puerto Rico have a major transition to go through when they arrive and will need humans who are very committed to socialization. We think this pup would do best with either a resident dog or a family who can make sure they can go on walks regularly with other dogs, visit the dog park, or go to doggie daycare to learn the ropes.Cameron is Looking For: His forever home! Cameron is a sato - a dog from Puerto Rico. He is in hisprime as a young dog and hasn't seen enough of the world - he's eager to get her own humans for sniffy walks and romps in parks and all the adventures his family can dream up. Most of all, though, he wants to know where he belongs, to be safe and loved all his days. In exchange he promises so much love and loyalty. What do you say? Can you see him by your side?
What My Foster Says About Me: Welcome Cameron all the way from Puerto Rico!! This sweet, little brave guy is super special for many reasons! The first time I saw Cameron, I automatically thought Husky, with those beautiful blue and brown eyes but here's the catch, he's little. Small enough to pick up and carry him, if you wanted! Which is super convenient!
A little more about his personality, Cameron loves people and dogs so much that when we visit the dog park he goes to every person and dog just for a simple, "hello"!
However, I would not recommend him to a family with cats or small mamals, because he enjoys the chase.
He is a calm dog in general and loves to please, which has made training easy. He sleeps in his crate during the night with minimal coaxing, walks nicely on the leash, great and ready for a car ride, and an overall great Family dog!!
Lucky Dog cannot guarantee any dog is housebroken. All of our dogs are working on their crate training.
