It seemed like she wanted to play more than anything but I donât think she knows how heavy she is! She barked one time the whole trip and it just seemed like it was because the kids werenât giving her attention. She is a big olâ lap dog! She will make a great velcro dog because she did not want to leave my side. She was very quiet except for a single bark and a few whines here and there when she wanted scratches. She LOVED head scratches. She also wanted to sit in my lap the whole time. I bet she wouldâve sat in my lap during the car ride if she couldâve! She has such a great personality. She was chill and quiet when she got tuckered out but she was so playful! She saw the water at the American River and got the zoomies instantly. The walk there was about a mile and I could tell she was pooped on the mile walk back to the car. She was very friendly and wanted scratches from everyone that passed by. I was surprised how good she was on a leash though! Very little pulling. No behavior concerns at all. She took a little nap on the beach and sounded a little stuffy when she was asleep. I donât know if she has a sinus infection or anything but she was a little snotty. Not sure if thatâs anything to worry about but I thought it was worth a mention! We stopped by Starbucks and got a pup cup which she was very excited about. We then went to the American River trail and walked about a mile along the river. We stopped by a little pond in the shade and she played with her dino toy. Then we went to a little spot on the beach. She got the zoomies and was running in and out of the water. I sat on a chair and read and it took her a while to stop pacing and trying to climb in my lap but she finally settled down and took a little nap. We splashed around in the water some more and then did the mile walk back to the car. She was so pooped!
