Meet Rapid, a 2-year-old sweetheart who deserves a fresh start and a family who will show him the love heâs always deserved.Rapid came to the shelter with his sister in heartbreaking condition, both suffering from severe skin infections. Thankfully, his sister has found a home, but Rapid has been a little sad without his best friend by his side. The good news is that his skin is already improving, and with continued medicated baths, good nutrition, and plenty of TLC, heâs well on his way to becoming the handsome boy he was always meant to be.Despite everything heâs been through, Rapid is incredibly gentle and loving. He can be a bit timid and sometimes needs encouragement to leave his kennel, but once heâs out, his sweet personality shines through. Heâs playful, enjoys spending time with people, and has the kindest soul.Rapid is looking for someone who will see beyond his current appearance and recognize the wonderful dog underneath. He deserves a home where heâll be cherished & cared for. Could you be the one to show this deserving boy what love truly feels like?A note from our veterinarian:This animal has experienced dermatitis (skin inflammation), which can be caused by allergies, parasites, infections, or environmental factors. The condition has been treated or is currently being managed while in our care, and the skin is improving. Dermatitis may recur and often requires ongoing monitoring and care. We recommend following up with your family veterinarian to ensure continued comfort and address any future flare-ups.This dog was diagnosed with an ear infection in both ears. A long-acting medication called Claro® was applied on 06/18/26, and it will continue working for 28 days. Do not wash or flush the treated ear, as this will remove the medication. Please schedule a follow-up appointment with your family veterinarian to confirm that the infection has resolved.Recurring ear infections can sometimes indicate an underlying condition, such as allergies or hormonal imbalances. If this becomes a chronic issue, your veterinarian may recommend additional diagnostics or a long-term management plan to keep your pet comfortable and healthy.
