Meet Rosco!Rosco is a 1-year-old American Staffordshire Terrier/Labrador Retriever mix who came to us on May 28, 2026 and has shown a sweet, playful personality here at the shelter. He has a medium-to-high energy level and loves squeaky toys, tug-of-war, chasing a ball, chewing on durable toys, and even crunching on an ice cube as a special treat! Rosco is incredibly people-friendly and eager to please, responding well to treats, praise, and gentle guidance.Rosco walks nicely on a leash, is crate trained, and has done wonderfully in the homes of both of his 5 Barks Stays. He is house-trained with a consistent routine, knows the `off` command, and continues to work on his puppy manners. He would do best with an active family that can provide structure, positive reinforcement, and plenty of toys and playtime. While new noises can make him a little nervous, a reassuring voice is all he needs to regain his confidence.Rosco is neutered, vaccinated, and ready for a fresh start in a loving home. He has overcome kennel stress while in our care, but in a home environment his affectionate, fun-loving personality truly shines.
