Meet Nipsey â The Shy Guy with the Constantly Wagging Tail Nipsey is a 6-year-old Queensland Heeler mix with the softest fur you'll ever pet and a tail that rarely stops wagging. Life at the shelter has been a big adjustment for this sensitive boy, but thanks to the shelter's Shy Dog Program, he's made wonderful progress and is gaining confidence every day.The noisy shelter can still be overwhelming, so Nipsey may pull on leash as he tries to leave the commotion behind. Once he's outside, though, his true personality begins to shine. He enjoys sniffing every interesting scent, exploring at his own pace, and seems housetrained since he takes care of business as soon as he gets outside. When he feels safe, he'll happily lean in for affection, place his paws in your lap, and even hand out sweet little kisses.Nipsey also has a playful side! He enjoys soft toys and loves spending quiet time with people who let him warm up at his own pace. His gentle nature and affectionate personality make him a joy to be around once you've earned his trust.His family made the difficult decision to surrender him after losing their home, and they had nothing but wonderful things to say about him. They reported that Nipsey was an indoor dog and simply described him as `a good dog.`
