WATCH MY VIDEO...Warning: Rio may cause excessive laughing, spontaneous games of fetch, and an overwhelming urge to say, `What on earth are you doing?` at least five times a day. This lovable 4 year old Shepherd mix came to us from another shelter, so we don't know much about his past. What we do know is that Rio has perfected the art of making people smile. One minute he's zooming around the yard like he's training for the Canine Olympics. The next, he's convinced he's a 12 pound lap dog and has somehow draped himself across your lap for cuddle time. Personal space? Rio has never heard of it. His favorite snack routine deserves its own talent show. Rio doesn't just eat treats. He tosses them into the air, watches them fly, and then catches them before enjoying them. Why eat a cookie the normal way when you can make it a performance? Rio is as smart as he is silly. He knows fetch, happily drops the toy right back at your feet, and is always ready for `just one more throw.` He walks beautifully on a leash, is housebroken, enjoys being outside, and loves running around with his people. He's friendly, affectionate, loves being petted, and is the kind of dog who wants you to join in on the fun rather than just watch from the sidelines. Despite all of his goofy antics, Rio has a wonderfully sweet side.
