WATCH MY VIDEO...My name is River and I want to share my story. In December 2023 Saint Nicholas Animal Rescue on the island of Dominica, rescued me. Here is what they wrote on their IG page: Rescued today! We were able to rescue a young dog who was in dire need of help. This poor pup was found wandering the streets with a heavy chain and electrical wires wrapped around his neck, desperately searching for food and water. Despite being just a puppy, he was severely malnourished, abused, and neglected, suffering from a painful skin condition.Our dedicated team sprang into action and rescued him this afternoon. After a thorough examination and blood work, it was discovered that he is afflicted with three different tick-borne diseases and a painful skin condition. After getting the medical care I needed, Iâm now a happy fellow who wants a family to love. I was lucky to be flown to the HSBC with a few of my friends and know brighter things are in all our futures. I enjoy treats and LOVE being in the air-conditioning.
