Meet Oliver – Your Future Adventure Buddy!
Oliver has settled into his New Jersey foster home and is proving to be exactly what you'd expect from a young Jack Russell Terrier—smart, playful, affectionate, and always ready for fun!
Like any puppy, Oliver is looking for a family committed to continuing his training and helping him grow into the wonderful adult dog he's destined to be. He's making great progress with house training thanks to a structured routine and has only minimal accidents. Crate training is still a work in progress, but he's improving every day. At night, he sleeps in his crate in his foster family's bedroom, does well with one quick overnight potty break, and settles right back to sleep. During the day, he's learning that his crate is a positive place where he enjoys meals, treats, stuffed Kongs, lick mats, and one of his favorite snacks—baby carrots!
Oliver is an affectionate little guy who loves to be held and cuddle after a busy play session. He enjoys the company of other dogs and is gaining confidence on leash walks, especially when he has canine friends to join him. He absolutely loves toys, zooming around the backyard, and has discovered that chasing leaves is one of life's greatest joys—he's going to have so much fun during a New Jersey fall!
Like most puppies, Oliver has energetic bursts, especially in the mornings and early evenings, followed by plenty of downtime. A nice evening walk helps him wind down and settle in for the night.
Oliver is looking for a family ready to embrace all the fun, laughter, and training that comes with raising a puppy. In return, you'll get a happy, loving companion who will keep you smiling every single day.
Oliver tested negative for heartworm and is up to date on his vaccines. He will be microchipped and neutered through our veterinary program in Holmdel, with those costs covered by Wag On Inn. His adoption donation is $600.

Adopting a dog is a commitment that will require annual veterinary care at a minimum, training, exercise, enrichment, etc. Pet care is not cheap or easy and adopters should consider the costs, time and training prior to adoption. After all these dogs have been through they deserve a loving, committed home.
