LONDYN NEEDS A FOREVER HOME!!!!
Come meet Londyn and other great adoptable dogs this Sunday (7/12) from 12-3 pm at the PetSmart in Kensington, MD (5154 Nicholson Ln, Kensington, MD 20895)!
Name: Londyn Best Guess for Breed: Shepherd/Terrier
Best Guess for Age: 10 weeks as of 6/25/26 SEX: male
Estimated Weight (puppies' weights change quickly!): 13.25 pounds as of 6/25/26
Gets Along With: Most puppies are in the prime of their socialization window and will do well with other dogs, cats and kids so long as they receive patience and proper training.
Currently Living at: D.C. area foster home.
You can follow Londyn along in his foster care adventures on Instagram @arabellankirasfosterpups
Special Adoption Considerations: Puppies under 6 months of age need to have multiple potty breaks/exercise throughout the day. Potential adopters with a standard 8-hour workday must be willing to make arrangements to meet the needs of their puppy.
Londyn is Looking For: Hi! The three of us - Lilo, Lenny and Londyn- have loved our time in the puppy pile, but we are each ready to pack our bags and find our very own forever home! I'm looking for a home that will let me play with toys and get my puppy zoomies out and give me snuggles in between playtimes. When I'm a little older, I can't wait to explore my new neighborhood on lots of walks, and I'd really like to make a bunch of doggie friends along the way. Oh, and I should probably take a puppy obedience class or two so I can show you how smart I am.
What My Foster Says About Me: Londyn has been trying to run our house since the day he arrived, he just hasn't figured out that he's only about a foot tall.
On day one, he confidently introduced himself to our 90-pound Shepherd and immediately invited her to play, complete with pesky little brother relentlessness. His confidence is absolutely hilarious.
His other full-time job is providing complimentary face washes. If you sit down, Londyn assumes you've scheduled an appointment for kisses. Personal space is simply not part of his vocabulary, and honestly, we wouldn't have it any other way. Once he's finished cleaning your face, he's ready to glue himself to your side for a cuddle. If he could crawl inside your hoodie and nap there, he probably would.
When the zoomies hit, good luck keeping up. I still can't believe how fast this tiny puppy can move. One second he's beside you, and the next he's doing laps around the yard like he's training for the Puppy Olympics. He's already mastered tug-of-war and is currently perfecting the fine art of fetch... emphasis on learning. Returning the toy is still a work in progress.Since his brother was adopted, Londyn has been learning how to keep himself entertained while I work during the day. He's done a great job figuring out solo play, although he's always ready to remind me that breaks are meant for puppy time.
One thing that has surprised me is how much he loves music. Turn some on, and he seems to instantly relax. Apparently, even tiny comedians appreciate a good soundtrack.
Londyn is equal parts chaos, comedy, and cuddle bug. He'll make you laugh every single day, cover you in kisses you didn't ask for (but secretly needed), and then curl up next to you like he's been your best friend forever. He's going to keep his future family entertained, loved, and probably just a little bit outnumbered.
Puppy Vetting Requirements: Lucky Puppies have had their age appropriate vaccines, but may not yet be “fully” vaccinated. It is the adopter’s responsibility to ensure that the remaining puppy vaccines are given at the appropriate time. Please also keep in mind that, until your puppy is fully vaccinated, they are at greater risk for illness than an adult dog.
Due to this puppy’s young age, she/he has not yet been spayed or neutered. As part of the adoption contract, it will be your responsibility, as the adopter, to ensure that this is done no later than 10/15/26. There are NO EXCEPTIONS and NO EXTENSIONS to this date. A non-refundable spay/neuter deposit will be collected if you would like Lucky Dog to pay for this animal to be spayed/neutered at one of our low cost partner vets.
Your new puppy will need to work on their house training and will also need to go to obedience school so they can grow into a well-socialized dog! TO ADOPT: The adoption fee for this puppy is $485, which includes the cost of routine vetting and transport from the shelter. If you are interested in adopting, please complete the Adoption Questionnaire online bit.ly/adoptaluckydog
