Tundra didn't get the best start to life, which is very sad for an Akita, since connection to family is so important for the them. She was underweightand in some pain, but has responded to better diet and care.True to the breed standard, Tundra is dignified, independent and aloof to strangers, but has a silly playful side once she gets to know you. Truth be told, she is adorable to watch play with a squeaky stuffy. She does well on the leash, and like most Akitas is only medium energy, though a volunteer who is a runner said she did very well.She is newer to us, so check back as we learn more about this regal gal.
