Meet Ollie! ❤️ Ollie is a handsome 5-year-old Malamute/Husky mix with a playful spirit and a love for the great outdoors. Unfortunately, Ollie has found himself back at our shelter once again through no fault of his own, and we're determined to help him find the experienced, forever home he truly deserves. His previous family described him as a wonderful dog who did well with children, loved his people, and has previously lived successfully with other dogs. He can do well with canine companions when introduced properly, but he does show signs of leash reactivity and will benefit from an adopter who understands this specific breed and is committed to continuing his training with patience and consistency. True to his breed, Ollie thrives outdoors and would be happiest in a home with a large, securely fenced yard where he can run, explore, and enjoy the fresh air. He is kennel trained when left unsupervised and has the classic Husky personality, he's very talkative and of course has that adorable husky howl! As a Malamute/Husky mix, Ollie will need regular grooming, daily exercise, and plenty of mental enrichment to keep him happy and healthy. Ollie is neutered, microchipped, and up to date on all of his vaccinations, making him ready to begin his next chapter. He is looking for an adopter with experience handling large, intelligent breeds, someone who will appreciate his personality, understand his training needs, and give him the stable, loving home he's been searching for. In return, Ollie promises to be a loyal adventure partner and devoted best friend.
