Radar – Independent Explorer with a Snuggly Side Radar is a 1½-year-old German Shepherd Dog mix weighing 70 pounds with a wonderful balance of independence and affection. He enjoys exploring the world at his own pace but is just as happy returning to his favorite people for love and attention. Curious adventurer: Radar enjoys taking his time on “sniffari” adventures, investigating every interesting scent along the way. He’s still working on his leash manners and continues to make progress with guidance. Affectionate sweetheart: After satisfying his curiosity, Radar happily returns for attention, leaning into pets, and sometimes even resting his head in a lap for extra snuggles. Smart and treat motivated: He knows “sit,” takes treats politely, and enjoys engaging with his handler. Dog-social: Radar has played well with other dogs in doggie playgroup, showing appropriate social skills with canine companions. Radar would do well with appropriately matched dogs or as a solo dog with dog friends outside the home.
