Don’t let my small size fool you—I have a big personality and an even bigger voice! My name is Benji, and I am an incredibly cute, sweet little guy with a lot to say. I love to use my voice to announce visitors, express my excitement, or just let you know how my day is going. Sadly, I found myself at the rescue because my elderly owner's health began to decline, and they were no longer able to give me the care I needed. It was heartbreaking to leave, but I am so ready to find a new forever family to focus all my love on. I am a truly fantastic pup who gets along wonderfully with people and coexists beautifully with other well-behaved dogs. My Ideal Home Because I like to make my voice heard, I have one very specific rule for my next home: No Apartment Life: My big, booming voice means shared walls and busy apartment hallways are definitely not for me. I am strictly looking for a single-family home (bonus points for a fenced-in yard where I can patrol and play!). The Routine: If you are looking for a loyal companion who will keep things lively, greet you with enthusiasm, and settle down for a nice cuddle session after playtime, I'm your guy. Companionship: Having lived with an elderly owner, I know how to be a dedicated, loving sidekick. I would do well in almost any household shape or size, as long as my voice is welcome.
