She would be fine with another adult, small dog, or by herself if you work from home or are newly retired. She is not a couch potato. She likes walks and playing, so don’t apply if you just want someone to sit with you on the couch. Dachshunds are often not patient with little kids, and kids can accidentally hurt a dachshund’s back or get bitten.
