Pupsicle is a sweet, well-mannered girl with the perfect balance of companionship and independence. She's fully potty trained, walks nicely on a leash (though a prong collar has been helpful while she continues working on pulling), and is ready to find a family to call her own.This lovely girl gets along well with other dogs and children, but she's looking for a cat-free home. She enjoys the company of calm dogs and will happily play with more active canine friends when she's in the mood. If she's ready for some quiet time, she'll simply do her own thing, and if another dog doesn't take the hint, she'll politely let them know with a verbal correction.Pupsicle's favorite things include: Walks and exploring the neighborhood Car rides Treats of any kind (she's not picky!) Spending time with her people Relaxing on a cozy dog bed or the couchWhile she loves being near her family, she's not a velcro or lap dog. She's happiest getting a few minutes of pets and attention before settling down for a nap nearby. She enjoys being in the same room as her people without needing to be the center of attention all the time.Pupsicle would do best with a family that's home often or able to include her in their daily activities. She does not enjoy being left alone and absolutely hates the crate, often trying to escape when confined. Even when left in a secure pen or gated room, she can become anxious and will pace and pant while waiting for her people to return.On walks, Pupsicle may try to chase the occasional bunny, but she generally ignores birds and squirrels. She enjoys greeting other dogs with a quick sniff before turning her attention to the people nearby—especially if they might offer pets or treats!She isn't a fan of loud outdoor noises like thunder or fireworks and prefers to head back inside when she hears them. Once indoors, she settles nicely and feels much more secure.Pupsicle does shed, so her future family should be comfortable with regular brushing to help keep her beautiful coat looking its best.If you're looking for a gentle, affectionate companion who enjoys being by your side without demanding constant attention, Pupsicle may be the perfect fit.
