Rumi is a sweet, affectionate boy who enjoys spending time with his people. He happily leans in for pets, takes treats gently, and has done well with handling and grooming. He also enjoys running around the yard and has done well playing with other social, energetic dogs.Like many young dogs, Rumi is still working on his manners. He can be enthusiastic on leash and would benefit from continued positive reinforcement training to help him develop good leash skills and basic cues. His previous owner also reported that he escaped through open doors on several occasions, so he'll need a home that is mindful about keeping doors and gates secure.With love, consistency, and opportunities to play and explore, Rumi will make a fun and loyal companion.
