Meet Louise, a sweet and loving pup who believes life is better when you're close to the people you love. This affectionate girl is happiest snuggled up beside her humans and is always ready for a good cuddle session once everyone settles in. She's a curious, smart pup who thrives with structure, consistency, and people willing to help her continue learning all the things that make a great companion.Louise is an active girl who loves to run, chase balls, and show off her adorable zoomies. She's still working on the art of retrieving, but she's having plenty of fun practicing! Her favorite toys include her dinosaur stuffy and flower snuffle mat. She's done wonderfully with other dogs, greeting them with excitement while also respecting their boundaries when reminded. Louise is friendly, social, and eager to be part of the fun. She's also doing fantastic with her house manners. Louise is doing great with potty training and quickly takes care of business when she's let outside. She's very food motivated and excited about mealtime, so her foster family has helped her slow down with a slow feeder.Louise is a fun, enthusiastic, and loving pup who would thrive with someone who can provide guidance, patience, and plenty of encouragement. In return, she'll give you endless affection, goofy moments, and a whole lot of love. They were rescued from a high kill shelter in Texas.Meet and greets are by appointment only. An approved application is required to schedule a meeting. Check out our events page for upcoming open adoption events! We have no additional back story or update for this dog at this time. When we do, it will be updated here. This is all the information we have currently. Approved Applicants may make the adoption fee payment by clicking donate above. Partial adoption fees will not hold a dog. If upon meeting the dog of your choosing at your scheduled pickup time you find that you aren't a good match, your deposit will be fully refunded. Adoption fees include vaccines up until time of adoption, microchip, spay/neuter and 1st 30 days of free pet insurance. We are not affiliated with MetLife pet insurance. (you have to sign up for the insurance or it will not go into effect). Adoption fees help cover the medical care of the animals while he or she waits for a new home, as well as food and transportation costs. These fees help to provide care for the other animals in the shelter or rescue group who may have medical bills that are much higher than any possible adoption fee. The money also acts as a donation to help support the organization as a whole, allowing the group to continue its efforts to rescue and rehome pets. The dogs in our care are fostered in Colorado, Texas, and New Mexico. While all dogs are picked up during our scheduled times, sometimes transport dates change due to unforeseen circumstances.
