Meet Luka Luka's story before arriving at a high-kill Texas shelter is a bit of a mystery. What we do know is that he came to us with a large mass on his hip that has since been successfully removed, and he's also had a fresh dental cleaning. These days, Luka is feeling much better and ready for his next chapter. Luka is about 9 years old and weighs 15 pounds. If you're looking for a laid-back companion, Luka might be your perfect match. He's incredibly mellow, low-energy, and content to simply be wherever the action is—without needing to be the center of attention. In fact, he rarely makes a sound and is one of those dogs whose calm presence speaks for itself.
