Hi there! My name is Hippo—yes, Hippo! My foster family loves giving puppies animal names, and I think it fits me pretty well because I definitely love my food! My foster mom says I'm a happy, healthy little pup with just the right amount of puppy fluff. Life in my foster home is so much fun! I spend my days playing with my foster family dogs, especially one puppy who's much bigger than I am and completely crazy—in the best way! We have a blast together. Of course, after all that playing, I need lots of puppy naps. Sleep, play, eat, repeat... that's the perfect puppy life! And here's something to brag about—I sleep through the entire night without any accidents. My favorite place to sleep? Snuggled up with you in bed, of course! XOXOXO! I'm also working hard on my potty training. I do a great job most of the time, with just an occasional "whoops!" My foster family says that's perfectly normal for a puppy who's still learning. One of my favorite adventures is exploring the backyard with my doggy friends. There are so many exciting smells to investigate and lots of toys to play with! When we come inside, there's an entire toy box waiting for me, and I get to choose whichever toy catches my eye. That makes me one happy puppy! I'm a smart little girl, too. I already know how to sit, and I'm learning "down." My foster family says I'm a quick learner, so I'll have that mastered in no time. My foster home also has some very big animals called horses... and another one called a goat! I stay outside the fence and watch while my foster mom feeds and brushes them. She says I do an excellent job listening and waiting patiently when she opens and closes the gate. Did you catch that? I listen really well! My foster family tells me all the time how beautiful I am. Don't worry—it hasn't gone to my head... although I do love hearing it while I'm cuddled up beside them!
