Trixie's adoption is pending. She is getting a chance to see if she will work out with a prospective adopter. They took advantage of our Foster - to - Adopt program to give her a try in their own home. Meet Trixie Trixie is a beautiful Husky mix who is looking for a patient and loving person to help her blossom into the confident dog she's meant to be. She can be a little shy when meeting new people, but beneath that reserved exterior is a curious and gentle soul just waiting to shine. We estimate she is about 2 - 3 years old. She appears to be house trained. But with any new dog in your home, she will need to learn your routine as you will need to learn her cues that she needs to go out. Trixie enjoys exploring the world around her and walks very nicely on a leash. She loves taking in new sights and smells and would be happiest with a family that can give her time to build trust and confidence at her own pace. A home with a large yard to roam and explore would be a dream come true for Trixie, but she'd be just as happy joining you for peaceful walks along the water or other outdoor adventures. With patience, kindness, and understanding, Trixie will reward her special person with loyalty and companionship. If you're looking for a sweet dog who just needs a chance to feel safe and loved, Trixie may be the perfect match for you. All dogs are vaccinated, microchipped and spayed or neutered (if they are old enough) before they leave the shelter. If the dog is not old enough, you will be given a voucher for Animal Medical Center in Emmett to cover the cost of the spay or neuter.
