Meet Nala Her story hasn’t been an easy one. She spent much of her life living outside, surviving neglect, and was even attacked by another dog, leaving her with an injured leg and a torn ear. But if you met her today, you would never guess the hardships she’s endured. Nala has a heart full of love, and she hasn’t let her past take away her joy.At just 2 years old and 45 pounds, Nala is truly one of the sweetest dogs you could ever meet. Her tail never stops wagging, and she greets everyone she meets as if they’re her new best friend. She absolutely adores people, is amazing with children, and is happiest when she’s curled up in someone’s lap soaking up attention. Nala is a total love bug who lives for cuddles, kisses, and being close to her family.She gets along wonderfully with other dogs, both big and small, and does great with cats too. Her gentle, friendly nature makes her an easy companion wherever she goes. She is also fantastic in the car. She happily hops right in and out on her own and enjoys coming along for rides. She’s good on leash and loves spending time with her people, whether that’s going for a walk, relaxing in the yard, or finding the perfect sunny spot to lounge in.Nala is crate trained and house trained. She does have a ruptured CCL in her left back leg, but don’t tell her that—it certainly doesn’t slow her down. She continues to enjoy life to the fullest, especially when it involves her favorite pastime: sunbathing, no matter the season We previously rescued Nala’s puppies from the same heartbreaking situation, and all of them have found loving homes.
