First you spread, spread, spread, you bread with peanut butter; add marshmallow fluff and have a fluffernutter! This little sweetie loves his toys as much as New Englanders love a good marshmallow & peanutbutter sandwich. He can't see as well as he used to, but he doesn't let that slow him down.OTHER PETS: Fluff growls to keep other dogs away from him but has not exhibited aggression while walking past other dogs at TJO. He would do best as an only pet. [Only Pet]OWNER EXPERIENCE: [First Dog] KIDS: Fluff has exhibited mild resource guarding with both food and possessions. He does not like his food being messed with and will hover over toys, trading up with a toy or food of equal or higher value is the safest way to remove items while showing him he never has to lose the good stuff! Fluff, as all dogs, should be left alone at mealtime, crate feeding or giving him his own gated space is a good way to ensure that Fluff feels safe while eating, and should not be taunted. It is imperative that Fluff's new humans understand how best to support him and set him up for success in his new home.[15+ / Dog Savvy (Must Meet First)]ACTIVITY LEVEL: Fluf LOVES squeaky toys and getting attention from humans. Engaging in positive reinforcement and playtime with him regularly throughout the day will keep his muscles limber and his mind strong as he ages. Regular exercise combine with mental enrichment will help meet his needs. [Couch Potato] VETERINARY CARE: [Routine] LEVEL OF TRAINING NEEDED: Positive reinforcement training will help Fluff bond with his new owner, build confidence and help him learn new skills and fund tricks. He enjoys human attention so teaching new skills is a great way to keep his mind sharp and engaged while increasing the human-canine bond. [Minimal] GROOMING: Regular brushing will help keep Fluffâs coat clean and matt-free between grooms; he/she should be groomed every 6 â 8 weeks. [Professional Grooming]
