A SWEET & SHY LITTLE FRIEND: Approx. 2 years old / Approx. 9 lbs. Hi there! My name is Zola! I came to Mostly Mutts from animal control with another dog and am glad to be here. I am soaking up the love and attention from the volunteers here and I heard them say that I’m now ready to find a family of my very own. I needed cherry eye surgery when I arrived and thankfully Mostly Mutts has had that done for me! • OTHER DOGS/CATS/KIDS: I met other dogs at Mostly Mutts and was a little nervous - I think I may just need a nice slower introduction. I like the dog I came in with, so if you have a nice dog at home already, let’s meet! / Cats unknown. / I haven’t met kids yet at Mostly Mutts, so let’s meet if you have calm and gentle kids as I can be shy and of course, let’s meet! • PERSONALITY/ENERGY LEVEL: I was very timid and scared when I first arrived, but thanks to the volunteers taking their time with me, I’m doing so much better now. I can still be shy at first, so going slowly really helps me feel safe and loved, but I do warm up pretty quickly and become friendly and sweet. I was also new to leash walking and needed some time to figure it out, so I don’t mind being picked up instead while I’m learning. With patience and kindness, my loving personality really shines. / Energy level: 4-6. • SKILLS/CRATE/POTTY: I'm in the Mostly Mutts University training program and have mastered the ‘sit’ command so far. Let's continue my training with the free lifetime training classes that Mostly Mutts offers for all their adopted dogs! / I’m doing well in my crate at Mostly Mutts. / I’m doing well with my potty manners on the shelter schedule, so hopefully that will be the case in my new home, too. • LIKES/DISLIKES: I like gentle and quiet-natured people that I can spend lots of time with. I’m sure we’ll discover lots of things we will enjoy doing together once I settle in my new home. / I wouldn’t want to be rushed in my new home and like all dogs, I’m sure I wouldn’t like it if I didn’t get enough love, attention, exercise, and training. • MEDICAL: I'm current on annual vaccinations, micro-chipped and spayed. Thankfully, I’ve had my cherry eyes repaired and am doing well. If you’re a nice calm and gentle-natured family, I think I’d thrive with you. My adoption fee is $299.00, and I’m located in Kennesaw, Ga.
