Alexa is a gentle, sweet, and affectionate girl who loves meeting new people—especially if they come with pets and scratches! She’s friendly and confident, enjoys her walks, and is happiest lounging in the sunshine. Alexa will happily follow you around for attention and isn’t shy about asking for more, often giving a little head bump to keep the cuddles going. She seems especially fond of men and gets excited when they interact with her.She’s doing great on leash, is crate and potty trained, and has had only positive interactions with other dogs, people, and children so far. Alexa is learning her basic commands and already responds well to “come” and “no.” She can be a bit enthusiastic—she may jump up for attention—so continued training and supervision around small children is recommended. She does have a prey drive (squirrels are her favorite!), but with guidance and patience, she continues to thrive and show what a loving, loyal companion she’ll be.
