He loves playing fetch (or his favorite twist: fetch hide-and-seek), snuggling for belly and butt rubs, and lounging indoors—he’s definitely an inside dog who thrives in cooler weather and snow. At 8 years old, he’s a pro at chilling out and sleeping the day away (with some epic snores for entertainment). He’s super smart and well-trained, responding perfectly to commands like sit, stay, drop it, heel, and even high-five! His wonky eyes (they sometimes look in different directions) just add to his charming, unique look—think of him as your one-of-a-kind teddy bear. A bit about his needs: Diesel would do best as an only pet in a home without small children or other animals. He’s playful at heart, but past experiences (like a rough vet visit as a pup) have made him reactive in certain situations, so he requires patient, experienced owners who understand big breeds. He’s a little overweight right now, but with some gentle exercise, he’ll be back in top shape.
