Meet Galiano
If you're looking for a loyal, gentle companion with a heart as big as he is, Galiano may be your perfect match.
This handsome boy has a calm, loving personality and truly enjoys being part of the family. He's wonderful with children—including young kids—and is happiest spending time with his people. At bedtime, Galiano quietly sleeps on his own bed in his foster family's room, even during thunderstorms, showing just how respectful and well-mannered he is.
Galiano walks nicely on a leash and is continuing to build his training skills. He's learning his "sit" and "down" commands and does an excellent job waiting patiently at doors and gates without trying to rush outside. Like any dog, he still has things to learn, but he's eager to please and enjoys working with his people.
He absolutely loves car rides and travels like a pro. Whether it's a trip to the park or visiting friends, Galiano is a wonderful guest wherever he goes.
With other dogs, Galiano does best when he's given a little time to settle in. He typically warms up to calm female dogs within about a day, while active or larger male dogs may take a bit longer. Slow, thoughtful introductions help him build confidence and lasting friendships.
Above all, Galiano is simply one of the sweetest dogs you'll ever meet. He's affectionate, kind, and ready to become a devoted member of a family that will love him as much as he'll love them in return.
Galiano is neutered, microchipped, up to date on vaccinations, and has successfully completed heartworm treatment and now tests negative. His adoption donation is $500.

Adopting a dog is a commitment that will require annual veterinary care at a minimum, training, exercise, enrichment, etc. Pet care is not cheap or easy and adopters should consider the costs, time and training prior to adoption. After all these dogs have been through they deserve a loving, committed home.
