He came to us with very little social experience, so new people and new environments are still unfamiliar to him.He does well with other dogs and gains confidence from calm, patient handling. Chester will thrive in a quieter home that can give him consistency, gentle structure, and time to settle in.He is a sweet, observant puppy who is making steady progress, and he’s ready for an adopter who understands shy dogs and wants to help him continue growing.Chester is not leashtrained and is not ready for walks. A secure, fully fenced yard is required. He is a flight risk if he becomes scared, so doors, gates, and transitions must be handled carefully. He cannot be crated. An approved puppy pen is required and should be placed in a main living area so he can observe household activity without pressure.Chester is neutered, microchipped, and up to date on vaccines. Adoption fee: $295.ADOPTION REQUIREMENTS:Fully fenced yard (no invisible fences).Someone home during the day.Children 13+.Calm, patient household.Friendly resident dog his size or smaller strongly preferred.No crates — approved puppy pen required.Experience with shy or unsocialized dogs is a plus.No travel over 2 hours.Outofstate adopters must pick up in person (no shipping).
