He starts out unsure in new situations, but with calm routines and gentle handling, he settles in and shows his sweet, steady nature.He does well with other dogs and gains confidence from having a friendly companion. A quieter home with patience and consistency will help him continue building trust at his own pace.Corkie is not leashtrained and is not ready for walks. A secure, fully fenced yard is required. He is a flight risk if he becomes scared, so doors, gates, and transitions must be handled carefully. He cannot be crated. An approved puppy pen is required and should be placed in a main living area so he can observe household activity without pressure.Corkie is neutered, microchipped, and up to date on vaccines. Adoption fee: $295. He is available under our foster to adopt program .ADOPTION REQUIREMENTS:Fully fenced yard (no invisible fences).Someone home during the day.Children 13+.Calm, patient household.Friendly resident dog his size or smaller strongly preferred.No crates — approved puppy pen required.Experience with shy or unsocialized dogs is a plus.No travel over 2 hours.Outofstate adopters must pick up in person (no shipping).
