A WONDERFUL FRIEND: Approx. 10 years old / Approx. 26 lbs. Hi, my name is Delores! I came to Mostly Mutts from animal control, and I have been spending time in 2 great foster homes! I am enjoying my time here, and they love me, so that sounds like a good preview of the great home that awaits me! My future family and I — making each other happy! I’m now available for adoption, so plan to meet me soon! • OTHER DOGS/CATS/KIDS: I love the other dog in my foster home! I also met dogs at Mostly Mutts and though I wasn’t quite ready to play with them, I was interested and a bit vocal with them, so if you have a nice dog at home already, let’s meet! / Cats unknown. / I haven’t met kids yet at Mostly Mutts, so let’s meet and best no toddlers that I may bump over. • PERSONALITY/ENERGY LEVEL: I’m a true treasure — well-mannered, gentle, and friendly with a playful, youthful spirit. I have a great balance of calm energy and fun, and I’ve liked everyone I’ve met so far. I was wonderful for my bath, standing still the whole time, calm and relaxed without a worry. I’m also respectful, easygoing, and even fun to photograph — just an all-around sweet girl! / Energy level: 4-6, sometimes a little higher. • SKILLS/CRATE/POTTY: I know the ‘sit’, ‘stay’, ‘down’, ‘come’, ‘drop it’, ‘shake’ and ‘leave it’ commands so far and I walk pretty well on my leash, too. I did a super cute enthusiastic ‘speak’ for my trainer when I was at the shelter, using my body to wind up for it. Mostly Mutts offers free lifetime training classes for all their adopted dogs, so let’s continue my training together. / I take naps in my crate with the door open and don’t seem to need a crate since I have good house manners and enjoy napping in dog beds, on laps and human beds, too. / My potty manners have been good in my foster homes. • LIKES/DISLIKES: I enjoy playing and following my nose, taking in all the interesting smells. I also like spending time outside with my foster on the deck, just relaxing nearby. I’ve shown some interest in squeaky toys in one of my foster homes, and I’m sure we’ll discover even more of my favorites together. / I can’t think of any dislikes, though like all dogs, I’m sure I wouldn’t like it if I didn’t get enough love, attention, exercise, and training. • MEDICAL: I'm current on annual vaccinations, micro-chipped and spayed. I’ve just had a dental cleaning so my mouth is fresh again. I’m a wonderful mix of sweet, fun, and easygoing — and I can’t wait to share all of that with my forever family. My adoption fee is $299.00, and I’m located in Kennesaw, Ga.
