Wishing you a lovely day. Hi, I'm DINERO (Diego) and her is some info about me:Breed: Boxer/Pit Bull MixAge: 2-1/2 yearsGender: MaleWeight: 45 lbsHeight: 18 inchesCountry of origin: US, New MexicoHighlights: people submissive, active, happy, playfulMo' money, mo' money, mo' money... well mas dinero in my case. You won't get enough of me and my fun loving nature.Like most dogs at the shelter, I was picked up as a stray off the streets of New Mexico. When my people didn’t come for me, I was rescued off the euthanasia list by my rescuers.I am energetic and would love an active family to include me in their lives. I love playing ball.My playfulness extends to people, both adults and older children. I enjoy walking on the leash and do fine walking past other animals.Though I have been dog tested, I seem to be okay with some dogs and not okay with other dogs. Quirky selectiveness. Probably be good to do slow intros to other dogs to ensure we are a match. I would likely do better in a home without other animals. You will find I am submissive to people, so no challenging mom & dad. I'm more the happy go lucky soul.If you like activities involving running games, snuggles on the couch, ball throwing, learning tricks, strolls on the beach, forest hikes, well, just about anything I'm game for. You can bet your bottom dollar, I am awaiting your call. My money, er dinero, is on a Canadian family scooping me up.More videos: https://youtu.be/txMPtjQPFf8, https://youtu.be/9Z5Q_6XlZwE,https://youtu.be/4KpIqbC9d0M, https://youtu.be/hjWxaLL0PsE.Energy Level: moderate to highI get along with:Dogs: With some. This includes my transportation to the Canadian border.Disclaimer: It is important for all applicants to visit our website, http://www.lovedatlastdogrescue.ca/adopting/ and read about Loved at Last Dog Rescue. Please Note: LALDR highly encourages adopters to research some local dog trainers before their dog arrives. Although a 1-on-1 trainer is often not needed, it is good to have someone in mind in case any problematic behaviours arise. Most bad behaviours can be modified if caught early enough, so make sure to nip undesirable behaviours in the bud before they become serious problems.Basic training should be taken seriously, but should not begin until your dog is well settled in - at least a couple of weeks. After you feel your new dog is relaxed and comfortable in their new home, check out training courses in your local area. Even basic beginner courses like those taught at a local pet store can have a huge benefit in helping your dog learn to socialize and get used to being in public situations, all with the added benefit of strengthening their bond with you.Normally, we will not approve adoptions to homes with children under 12 years of age. However if a dog has been determined to be good with children we will approve applicants with children 8 years or older. More information can be found on our website. The age and breed of a dog is usually an educated guess, so we are not able to guarantee the accuracy of age or breed of our dogs.Information included in the profile is provided to us from the international rescuer or local fosters. LALDR does not have access to overseas dogs and cannot always verify the accuracy of their descriptions. Every dog is an individual and can act differently in different situations based on the person adopting them and the environment in which they live.
