Meet Buddy! Buddy is a resilient 1-year-old Shepherd/Pit Bull mix weighing approximately 60 pounds who is ready for a fresh start. After overcoming a front leg amputation due to a severe injury, Buddy has made an incredible recovery and doesn't let having three legs slow him down. Friendly, determined, and full of life, Buddy loves getting out for walks with shelter staff and volunteers and is always ready for his next adventure. He does well with other dogs that can match and tolerate his playful, energetic personality, and a meet and greet is recommended for homes with resident dogs. Buddy is neutered, microchipped, current on his vaccinations, and heartworm positive. Thanks to Rockwall PAWS, his heartworm treatment is sponsored at little to no cost to his adopter.
