Greta Jean is a gentle 15-year-old sweetheart. All she wants in life is to be right by your side—whether that’s cuddling on the couch or soaking up endless belly rubs. The moment you start petting her, she melts into your touch, completely relaxed and content. And if you dare to stop too soon, she’ll gently grab your hand with her paws, asking you (very politely, of course) to keep the love going.She’s as easygoing as they come—calm, laidback, and perfectly happy enjoying the quiet moments. Every now and then, though, Greta Jean surprises you with a little burst of energy, showing off some playful spirit with her version of zoomies.Greta Jean gets along well with cats and other dogs her size, and she’s both house and crate trained, making her an easy addition to a loving home. She’s a quiet companion overall, but she does have a bit of personality—especially when it comes to mealtime. If dinner is even slightly late, she isn’t afraid to let you know with a little bark of sass.As a senior lady, Greta Jean does have some special needs. She has luxating patellas, so maintaining a healthy weight and keeping up with gentle exercise is important for her comfort and mobility. She’s also beginning to lose some of her sight and hearing, though she can still see a bit and responds to louder sounds.Applications can be filled out at www.piedmontanimalrescue.com/adopt! Please only apply if you are serious about adopting. Please also make sure your pets are up to date on you species applicable Vaccines (rabies, Distemper/Parvo, FVRCP, Bordetella), spayed/neutered, and on Heartworm prevention if a canine. The adoption fee includes their age appropriate vaccinations(DA2PP and Bordetella), Dewormer, spay/neuter, microchip, heartworm test as well as the registration of their microchip information to you.
