Adoption Donation: $250 (applicable sales tax included) PLUS a $100 deposit is required and is to be refunded once proof of spay/neuter is provided to this rescue. Our adoption contract requires all dogs to be spayed/neutered within ONE Month of adoption or when age-appropriate. Adoption fees may be paid by cash or check.

Puppies generally need the following veterinary care after their adoption:
8 Weeks: Distemper/Parvo & Bordetella Vaccinations. 4 Luv of Dog Rescue completes these vaccinations before adoption.
12 Weeks: Distemper/Parvo Vaccination completed at the veterinarian of adopter's choice.
16 Weeks: Distemper/Parvo & Rabies Vaccinations completed at the veterinarian of adopter's choice.
6 Months: Spay/Neuter surgery. **
Yearly thereafter: All dogs need yearly wellness exams performed by a veterinarian as well as booster vaccinations.
**Spay/Neuter surgeries cost between $200-$400 for a neuter surgery and $400-$600 for a spay surgery in the FM Area. Wellness visits can run from $75 to $150 for each visit. If you are thinking of adopting a puppy, it's a good idea to research these costs before adopting by calling the veterinarian of your choice.

4/20/25 Foster Feedback: Meet Microfiche, this adorable little puppy has been a joy to foster. I’ve had her for about a week. She is spunky, playful, and very lovable.
Microfiche is kenneled at night. She can be vocal, but she settles down after a while. Like any young pup, Microfiche is still working on her potty training and learning the ropes, but she’s smart, eager, and ready to grow with the right family by her side.
She’s looking for an active home that can keep up with her energy, continue her training, and give her plenty of opportunities to explore the outdoors. Whether it’s walks, playtime, or learning fun new tricks, Microfiche is ready for the adventure.
