Hi there⦠Iâm True. When I first came to the shelter, I was really scared. I had been out on my own for quite some time, and when the humane officer brought me in, everything felt overwhelming and unfamiliar. I was shy and unsure of the world around me, and it took me a little while to feel safe. But Iâve come a long way since then and Iâve truly started to come out of my shell.Iâm the kind of dog who forms deep, meaningful bonds with my people. Once I trust you, Iâm all in. I love quiet moments, gentle affection, and having a cozy place where I can relax and feel safe. Iâve discovered that I really love being close to the people I care about. Iâll happily follow you from room to room, just to keep you company and âhelpâ with whatever youâre doing. Being your shadow is kind of my specialty.I also have a sweet, affectionate side that really shines once Iâm comfortable. I love pets, I enjoy being hugged, and Iâve even learned how to jump right into the arms of the people I love. Itâs my way of saying, âI trust you.âThe shelter has been a helpful place for me to grow, and I have made friends here, but it can still feel stressful and noisy. What I really want is a home of my very own. A calm, steady place where I can continue to build my confidence and feel secure every day.Iâm hoping to find someone experienced and patient, someone who understands that I may need a little time to adjust but will be so worth it. With a gentle routine and lots of love, I know Iâll keep blossoming into the amazing companion Iâm meant to be.If youâre looking for a loyal, sensitive, and deeply loving dog to share your life with, I might just be your âTrueâ match.Love,True If this dog has been successful in our play groups it is not a guarantee that a dog will be social with other dogs in their home or in public settings.
