Meet Chuy — the little terrier mix with the biggest heart. One look at him and you’ll understand why everyone falls in love so quickly. Sweet, quiet, and incredibly affectionate, Chuy is the kind of dog who will warm your heart the moment he curls up beside you. Chuy has been through a lot, but he hasn’t let it dim his loving spirit. He came to us after his previous family could no longer afford the care he needed for a serious shoulder abscess that required surgery. The good news? He’s healed beautifully and is feeling better than ever — now he’s just looking for a forever family to love. While he can be a little shy at first, Chuy blossoms quickly with kindness and patience. Once he trusts you, he becomes your loyal little shadow, happily following you around, snuggling in your lap, and soaking up every bit of affection he can get. He’s wonderfully calm and quiet in the home, loves people, and enjoys playing with other dogs. Chuy is mostly potty trained and may just need a little gentle reinforcement in a new environment. He already knows how to sit, absolutely loves treats, and lives for cozy naps and belly rubs in his favorite bed. Chuy is neutered, microchipped, and fully up to date on vaccines — completely ready to start his next chapter. His adoption fee is $350, but the love and companionship he’ll give back are priceless.
