About Gregory: Gregory is the kind of dog who makes life feel a little softer, a little calmer, and a whole lot sweeter. With his adorable face and gentle personality, it’s no surprise he’s already turning heads — but it’s his loving nature that truly steals hearts.
This easygoing little guy would be a fantastic match for someone looking for a relaxed, affectionate companion, especially a first-time dog owner. Gregory is wonderfully adaptable and would be just as happy in an apartment as he would be in a house, as long as he has a cozy spot near his people.
Personality & TemperamentGregory is incredibly friendly and people-focused — the kind of dog who assumes everyone he meets is a potential new best friend. On walks, he’ll pause to admire passersby, quietly hoping for a few pets. He walks nicely on leash, isn’t reactive, and while he notices other dogs, he’s perfectly content to keep strolling along.
At home, Gregory is a total lovebug. He’ll follow you from room to room like the cutest little shadow, always wanting to be close. He lives for snuggles and will happily curl up beside you — or better yet, climb right into your lap and roll onto his back for belly rubs. He even gives the sweetest gentle licks while being pet. If you say his name or glance his way, he’s already on his way over for affection.
He’s also a smart cookie — food-motivated and eager to learn. He already knows “sit” and is working on “lay down.”
Energy LevelGregory is a low-energy dog with occasional playful bursts. He enjoys a little fun (especially with his beloved Lamb Chop toy), but he’s happiest lounging nearby while you work or relaxing on the couch. He may enjoy having a dog friend — he previously had a best buddy named Beasty Boy — but he’s just as content soaking up love from his humans.
House MannersSimply put, Gregory is a dream. He’s incredibly well-behaved, quiet (seriously — you might forget he’s there!), and unfazed by everyday noises, making him an excellent apartment companion. He’s had no accidents and has a very relaxed routine.
He’s comfortable free-roaming when left alone and typically just naps in his bed until you return. Because he’s so independent and calm, crate training hasn’t been necessary. He’s also a champion sleeper — don’t be surprised if you have to wake him up for potty breaks!
Ideal HomeGregory would thrive in a home where he can enjoy plenty of love, gentle attention, and a peaceful environment. While he hasn’t been formally tested with cats or children, his calm, friendly nature suggests he could do well with respectful kids and possibly cats with a proper introduction.
