Dogs OK
This dog is part of our shelter outreach program where we take dogs from overcrowded shelters in hopes of finding them a forever home here! We generally do not have much background info on them and cannot guarantee they are housebroken. They are all up to date on vaccines, spayed/neutered and microchipped.
Cash is a 1½-year-old, 35 lb Lab mix with the sweetest soul...and a story that deserves a second look.
He has a deformity in his front leg from an old injury that healed on its own. It may not look perfect, but here’s the thing…Cash doesn’t care. He runs, plays, and loves life just like any other young dog. It doesn’t slow him down, and it certainly doesn’t define him.
What does define Cash? His joyful spirit, his resilience, and how deeply he loves his people.
Too often, dogs who look a little different get overlooked. Passed by. Left behind. But Cash is proof that “different” doesn’t mean “less than”, it means special.
He’s high energy and would thrive in an active home with a fenced-in yard where he can stretch his legs and enjoy being a dog. He’s dog-friendly, crate trained, and already on his way to becoming an amazing canine companion with continued training.
All Cash needs is someone willing to see past his leg…and straight into his heart.
Don’t let something cosmetic keep you from meeting your best friend.
