Patterdale Terrier (Fell Terrier) / Poodle (Miniature) / Mixed (medium coat) • 9 Months • Female • Small
Canfield, OH
Rescue ID: A222364
Bronwyn is an adorable 8 month old (estimated DOB 8/19/25) female Patterdale Terrier mixed with who knows what - maybe a little poodle, a little ACD...who the heck knows! Wynnie is currently 20 pounds and won't get much bigger than that. With her puppy looks and good-natured charm, this girlie is perfect for an active home! Wyn is a friendly little girl - she loves everyone equally and isn't afraid to let them know. She seems to do well with other dogs (a meet and greet is required with any current canines), but we are pretty sure cats don't make her list of friends, so a feline free home is probably best. She would probably do well with polite, respectful kids over 4. We do not know much about her history as she was picked up as a stray by the Mahoning Dog Warden's office and was never claimed before being transferred to us here at Angels. Bronwyn is a very active little dog. She is not a lap dog nor is she a couch potato. She needs plenty of exercise and mental stimulation. Despite her diminutive size, she has big dog energy! This girl is a PISTOL! If you love to walk, hike, play doggy games, do all the things, then this might be the girl for you. Without this sort of stimulation and activity, she is likely to be an unhappy frustrated girlie which nobody wants! She is largely a blank canvas, ready for her new family to take the time to train her all about how to be a canine good citizen! We do not know if she is house trained or crate trained, but her new family should be prepared to do both! She does keep her kennel clean which is a promising start! While she is certainly a small package, Bronwyn isn't the same sort of small that you would expect from a shih-tzu or a poodle - she's a big dog in a little body. She has terrier tenacity and bounce. Joyful, very happy, loving life in all its forms. This is not to say Miss Wyn doesn't have an off switch, you just have to make sure she has had enough activity and fun for the switch to work!
