HONEY is available! Honey is a beautiful 18-month-old spayed female Golden Retriever. She is very smart, knows basic commands, loves to retrieve her ball and loves all people. Honey is a very cute petite girl, but she does jump up, so no frail elderly adults who could be knocked over. Honey loves to be the center of attention, but she also exhibits some food aggression with both people and other dogs. Her current foster has this to say, “She is so sweet, funny, loving, and so eager to please, she truly just has some old bad habits and impulse control issues. Any adult would be able to interact with her just fine (without food). It's the competition with other dogs and the fact that children interact with animals unpredictably.” For this reason, we will NOT place her in a home with other dogs or children at this point. AGR will provide an professional Board and Train program to help Honey with her issues once an adopter is identified and with commitment that the adopter(s) will follow-up with all appropriate training classes.
