This dog is available to meet by appointment only. Thornton is a young tan long haired chi mix with a cute underbite and rockin’ ear floofs! He does well with other small dogs and enjoys playing and romping, and is peaceably housed with other small dogs. Thornton was surrendered by his owner and has been worried and skittish at the shelter, reluctant to be leashed and sensitive to handling. He is looking for an experienced, adults-only home to decompress in - one that will go slowly with him, let him set the pace of interaction and give him time to get comfortable before trying to make friends with him. A confident small dog sibling would help Thornton build confidence, learn the ropes, and gain good dog skills.
