Well then, we’ve got the PERFECT GIZMO for you! 1 year old, 15lbs, the funniest goof around and powered by every single item he can fit into his mouth, LOL!! Gizmo thinks toys are fine… but a slipper? a random collar? your dignity? Even better . He is spunky, silly, and somehow has more energy than his much older foster brother. He’d love to be the center of someone’s world or live with another playful pup who will match his energy! His signature move? The dramatic belly flop You look at him → flop. You walk by → flop. You breathe in his general direction → already on his back, ready for rubs. It’s a lifestyle. Gizmo is a Shih Tzu who lives for his zoomie bursts. He’ll sprint around, grab a “treasure,” maybe bonk into the couch, possibly roll off it entirely… and then immediately pass out like nothing happened. He can be a tiny bit shy at first, but give him a minute and suddenly he’s glued to your side, leaning in for cuddles and following you around like your biggest fan. He loves his people and just wants to be close! Crate trained (sleeps through the night like an angel). Working hard on potty training. Getting better and better on leash. Learning that his foster brother is not, in fact, a trampoline. Even with healing stitches on his neck (we rescued him with the @nycacc after he was found with a mysterious neck wound), Gizmo is pure sunshine. He’s resilient, curious, and says hello to everything with a little head tilt like “huh… interesting…”Gizmo is the perfect little city sidekick, ready to tag along on all your adventures (and maybe steal something along the way). All he needs is a loving home that appreciates a little chaos and a LOT of love.
